Welcome to Rosegate Abbey! We are now relaunching! All those who were members can keep their positions and characters. Ages ago, there existed but one abbey, high in the northeast. Members of this order kept mainly to themselves and minded not the business of any other communities around them. For awhile, peace reigned across the lands, until news from a stranger drifted into the abbey. A fearful warlord, with no less than eightscore beasts in a horde at his back, was conquering the worlds, each area at a time, beginning in the far east and spreading his domain towards the west. Abbeybeasts, shocked, began to panic; their peaceful lives would soon end if the horde were to lay siege to their abbey. Their simple lives had left them virtually defenseless to attacks; an easy target that would make a wonderful stronghold. In the midst of this crisis, the stranger who carried the words from his levelled home in the east, stepped up at this time. Although his appearance was ragged and chains from the slave lines still hung from shackles and thralls on his body, there was no mistaking the spirit of a warrior within him. The abbot, at that time, was already very old and would never have been able to direct his Children in this battle for the world, nominated this newcomer, a chipmunk called Agon, Champion of Deepmist, and bestowed the warriorchipmunk with Deepmist's long-guarded treasure; the mighty sword Icerain and a Faeron-crafted suit of fine silver armor with the emblazonment of the Deepmist crest. Agon, after joining the Order of Deepmist, added Icerain as his surname and accepted his duty as Warrior and Champion. Without hesitation, he selected a few of the more able abbeybeasts and left Deepmist with instructions as he and his crew set off to recruit allies that would aid them in their cause. Agon's journey led him to the south while avoiding the enemy troops and other various obstacles. In the south, he enlisted aid from Mt. Faeron and the Patrol. Heartened by Lord Faeron III's promise, Agon and his crew, with a few rabbits in tow, headed west. During their travels, however, the enemy had not stopped moving. Warlord Noir Shadowclaw, a fearful black wildcat known for his piercing emeral eyes, was expanding his territory yet. Only about seventeen days' march from Deepmist, the cat had aready recieved reports about the abbey. Capturing would be swift, easy, and rewarding. An abbey would make the perfect castle stronghold. Meanwhile in Deepmist Abbey, the woodlanders were preparing for siege and war, whilst gathering stragglers from the forest and offering them protection. Agon's words echoed in their ears, offering them moral determination despite their fear. Agon soon came upon the Western Wastes; at the sight of this, as well as urgings from members of his crew, the warriorchipmunk turned back and headed north, to the Hoole Range. In this Range, he encountered the Northwind wolves, who sent with him a small force, but little else. Before the warrior returned, however, Noir had already reached the abbey and laid it to siege after a negotiation that soon became a heated argument. After this preface of the Wars, the true battles began, each bloodier than the last. There were five wars in all, the final resulting in the destruction of Deepmist and the defeat of Noir Shadowclaw. With their precious abbey levelled to ruins and the once-rich land infertile, the creatures of Deepmist had little choice than to salvage what they had and rebuild elsewhere. After many harsh seasons, the Deepmist woodlanders came upon Fernweed wood. Finding a clearing that suited their needs perfectly, the exhausted creatures began the construction of an new abbey, which they dubbed: Rosegate. Today, Rosegate abbey is a friendly community of harmonious woodlanders in the tradition of their Deepmist ancestors. Tread the paw-worn dirt path into the depths of Fernweed and gaze in admiration of Rosegate's grandeur. Hail at the sentries above, who will open the great gates for your admittance and...become a member of Rosegate Abbey. The Great Wars are beginning again but nobody knows it. To the Rosegater's peace seems to rain all. Mt. Fearon is the only place still fighting, but all they fight is corsairs. This is soon to change. Cutface, the weasel Warlord has raised an army, one of which the likes of Rosegate has never seen. He has heard legends of the great rose colored Abbey and wants it for himself. So with his army he sets out for Rosegate. Atlas the Warrior, a squirrel Abbey Champion heres word of his arrivale from the Squirrel Queen. He will need help from Skipper of Holt Aquarn to train and raise an army. But is their enough time? The mouse Olen seems to have a second thought on who's side he really is on. Born and raised in Rosegate he sees the vermin and has mixed feelings on whether he stands with Rosegate or Vermin, though he lets no one know of this. Who's side will this mouse fall on? Meanwhile on the sandy southern shores another battle is brewing. King Fergaz the wildcat king has raised an army even larger than Cutface's. His goal is to do the impossible and conqure Mt. Fearon. But Mt. Fearon is in a crisis of its own. A large hurricane is heading toward the Southern Shores. This will deplete the mountains food stock for war. How will Bull the Great survive?

Rosegate Abbey

	The Orchard and Pond (1 sub-board) The large fruit trees of the orchard seem like a forest to the creatures of Rosegate. Their are many gardens located throughout the orchard. A large pond is located in the orchard providing a place for dibbuns to play and water for the abbey dwellers. Its a favorite place of chipmunks and squirrels. Moderator: Atlas the Warrior	0	0

	The Ditch A large, muddy ditch on the side of the main path that is out of range of slings and arrows; a strategic, but uncomfortable hiding place for enemies during war. Moderator: Atlas the Warrior	0	0
Fernweed Woods
	Fernweed Woods Large deciduous trees cover the whole land of Fernweed. The trees hold many secrets. Its a great place to go and have a picknic and such. 	Trefoil Hollow This is a valley that is haven for sqierrels. With its large trees and meadows, it is a squirrels' paradise. It is also home to the Squirrel Queen.	0	0

	Spike Field Hidden within the depths of a vast cave, a large, wonderful field grows in secret, fed by light from holes in the cieling, the subterranean waters, and care from the hedgehog community that dwells below. These hedgehogs are ruled by a Baron or Baroness.	0	0

North
	Hoole Mountain Range (1 sub-board) This is a large Mountain Range that speads all over north of Fernweed.	0	0
	Blackbird Forest A dark, evil forest full of blackbirds that nest in the pine trees above. Few creatures enter this forest and live to tell the tale.	0	0

West
	Shadow Path A dark, evil place that borders the western edge of Fernweed. It reeks with the scent of death and instills a sense of foreboding into the hearts of even the most fearless of beasts. Darkness reigns all of the time in this place.	0	0
	Western Wastes An expansive desert of shifting sands; temperatures are blazing during the day and frigid during the night.	0	0

	Goldenmist Forest Goldenmist Forest, a flood plain forest makes for a beautiful habitat in the south. In the mornings the sunlight filters through the mist, giving the whole forest a golden glow, hence its name.
